So you think it's your mid-life crisis now?

Romans 8: 29-30 (New Living Translation)

29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

30 And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.


It's surely nice to hear that God already had us in His mind from the very beginning, even before the Garden of Eden was created! How many of us really believe that we are really special and dear to God? Sometimes in life, we will run into many events that are so unpleasant and you can't help but wonder if God reallllly love you, if God reallllllly care.

Well, truth is, God cares and God loves You more than anything else! If God don't, do you think He will choose us, call us to Him and even give us His glory? If God don't, do you think He will even answer your prayers? Do you think He will even give you such wonderful parents who will make sure you had your dinner, do your homework, sleep well etc? Think about the fantastic teachers that He had placed in YOUR life! He crossed their paths with yours so that you are well taken care of in the area of studies. He knew all of us have this "i-feel-so-lazy-now-so-i'm-not-doing-my-hw" thing so He sent teachers (who can be annoying sometimes) to chase after you for your hw so that ultimately, you can shine in your school! These teachers scold not because you have been a naughty girl or you have a really weird hairstyle. They do that because they care.

Since mere human beings can care so much for us, how much more does God care! The things that are happening right now may seem so miserable but trust me (or at least trust the bible!), He cares for you and He loves you!

Matthew 6:26
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Though life may be so very tough now or in time to come but fret not! Even the birds of the air are well taken care of.. how much more will your Heavenly Father take care of you! If God didn't love you more than birds, we probably won't be ruling over this earth, right? He will surely provide a way out for you if you let Him to:)
